Modern Warfare 2 Skips Co-op

Adding co-op would have ruined the Modern Warfare 2 "cinematic experience" says Infinity Ward's Robert Bowling via vg247. If you have just experienced de ja vu, it is because the same thing was said about Call of Duty 4 : Modern Warfare two years ago....

Imma let you finish Robert Bowling. I know Modern Warfare 2 will have Spec Ops mode for co-op, but how exactly did co-op for the campaign ruin it for Call of Duty : World at War, Gears and Lego Batman? Where did they go wrong? They all had this 'incredible' option by pressing a button or two to play co-op OR play the campaign single if you wished. Adding co-op to the campaign would have increased replay value as lot of us would love to play the campaign again and again with friends. If you want us to all to have the exact same experience, then make a movie, not a game.

You know what, it doesn't matter, as we are all still going to buy it anyway, and Infinity Ward know it.
